A brand new 30 sec IMAX 3D spot for Marvel's The Avengers has debuted.
Joss Whedon is directing from his own script based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, ‘Marvel's The Avengers'.
The epic big-screen adventure brings together the mightiest superhero characters from the recent entries in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the form of Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr., with Paul Bettany returning as the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo, taking over the role from Edward Norton), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg), Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and Loki (Tom Hiddleston).
The Avengers is set to hit theaters on May 4th, 2012 (a.k.a. Star Wars Day), a week later than in the UK.
