Here’s the full theatrical trailer for The Host, the sci-fi thriller based on Stephenie Meyer‘s best-selling adult novel about an evil force inhabiting humans everywhere.
It’s great to just see it all put together and see how it looks and how certain scenes turned out.There are some nice moments in there. I loved working with everyone on it but I really loved working with William Hurt just because he was a great leader really for all of us. He raised questions that some of us might not have if he wasn’t there so it was lovely to see the scenes that we did together.
The future-set film hits theaters on March 29th, 2013.
No doubt, the release of the new poster and trailer, coincide very well with the conclusion of Meyer’s first venture into the film, with Breaking Dawn Part 2 arriving on Friday.

Here’s the plot synopsis:
Parasitic aliens called ‘Souls’ have invaded the Earth and have begun to possess the minds of humans. Melanie Stryder’s body has been inhabited by a Soul named Wanderer, but refuses to fade away. Wanderer starts to see Melanie’s memories, in which she sees her loved ones and eventually finds a connection with them, too. Melanie is trapped inside Wanderer’s mind, speaking to her mentally, when both decide to set off and find their loved ones.
