World War Z trailer preview of
Brad Pitt and a horde of brain hungry zombies has emerged online, via
Entertainment Tonight in advance of a more detailed first look that is set to drop later this week.
If you don't want to hear the words like ‘Brad Pitt versus an army of zombies' or ‘only one man can save the world' in the particular EW way, just turn down the volume.
The
Marc Forster-directed action thriller is an adaptation of
Max Brooks' bestselling novel, ‘World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War' which also stars
Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and
David Morse.
A zombie film on a large scale the likes of which we've never seen before, World War Z saw many production delays and even had to bring in new writers to flesh out a new ending.

The story revolves around ‘United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.'
The film that has a screenplay worked on by the likes of
Drew Goddard and Babylon 5 scribe
J. Michael Straczynski was originally scheduled for December 2012, but re-shoots have pushed it back to June 21st, 2013.
World War Z is going to be epic and you can check it here.
