Life's Too Short

Hey Ricky Gervais‘ fans out there, I’m happy to inform you that his Life’s Too Short Special will debut on HBO this July! When exactly – you’ll find that out in the rest of this report, but what we can tell you right here at the beginning is that one of the funniest shows this time adds Val Kilmer to the celebrity cameos list. Sounds great, or what?

As you already know, Life’s Too Short is written by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, and centers on the life of a showbiz dwarf played by Warwick Davis.

Davis reprises his role as a fictionalized version of himself in the follow-up to the HBO comedy series.

This time, he’s living with his new girlfriend, Amy, and is elated to learn from fellow “Willow” star Val Kilmer that a sequel to that 1988 fantasy may be in the works – if Davis can help raise funds to finance the film. Is the prospect too good to be true?

In addition to Gervais and Merchant, the rest of the Life’s Too Short Special cast includes Jo Enright, Rosamund Hanson, Steve Brody, Bryan Medici, Kiruna Stamell and Shaun Williamson.

Life’s Too Short Special will wrap up the story of a little person trying to hustle his way back into the spotlight on July 5th, 2013, exclusively on HBO.

Stay tuned for more updates!
