So, anyone out there ever imagined how would Adam, the first man on Earth, look like in 2011?

Stop imagining, guys, we have our Adam! Believe it or not, but it’s Rock of Ages star Diego Boneta, who is in final negotiations to play Adam in the upcoming Alex Proyas‘ heavenly epic titled Paradise Lost!

Anyone surprised? What the hell (heaven?), if negotiations work out he will join the cast which already includes Bradley Cooper and Ben Walker and that’s enough for our young Adam!

The Alex Proyas‘s 3D adaptation of John Milton’s epic poem ‘Paradise Lost’ seems to be rounding out the main cast in a fast way. A big-budgeted heavenly epic already stars Bradley Cooper and Ben Walker as warring archangels Lucifer and Michael. For those of you who haven’t heard yet, three more thespians have joined the film’s cast as Gabriel, Adam and Eve.

Casey Affleck, Diego González Boneta and Camilla Belle are actually still in negotiations – Affleck and Belle have been officially offered roles and that Boneta is the ‘front-runner’ for the first man.

The super-versatile Djimon Hounsou will speak of Abdiel’s words, when he meets Satan on the field of battle and says,

This greeting on thy impious Crest receive (PL 6.188)

Commonly speaking, Oscar nominee Hounsou (Blood Diamond) will play the Angel of Death in Paradise Lost, the Alex Proyas directed Gods vs Gods thriller that is set to lens in Sydney for a January start of production. The same Paradise Lost will probably hit theaters in late 2013.

Check out the new featurette for Julie Taymor‘s upcoming film The Tempest below.

Taymor, who last tackled Shakespeare with the cannibalism-fuelled Titus, first staged The Tempest in the 1980s on stage with her now trademark blend of puppetry and drama. The gender-switching film version is much bigger in scope and finds Hellen Mirren playing Prospera, a woman looking to exact revenge after she’s been unfairly usurped and exiled by her dead hubbie’s brother so he can steal her kingdom.

Touchstone Pictures has debuted the first poster for the upcoming The Tempest movie, based on William Shakespeare’s play.

The film tells the tale of the Duchess Proaperas’ banishment to a “primitive” Island with her young daughter where she is forced to master the elements of nature and magic. Prospera plots to return her Daughter to her rightful place and wreak revenge on those responsible for her downfall. When the opportunity arises she calls forth a powerful storm (Tempest) to bring her betraying brother and all the key players in her usurping to the Island where she will have a decidedly “home court” advantage.

A few more clips, two international posters and several good quality photos from the sci-fi actioner “Push” have been released.

“Push” takes us into the secret world of psychic espionage. Our hero is Nick Gant (Chris Evans), a young man whose father was genetically altered to be the perfect government assassin. After the brutal murder of his father, Nick swears revenge on the agency that created him.

Hidden in the underworld of Hong Kong, Nick assembles a group of rogue psychics to defeat Division, the covert agency responsible for creating and experimenting with psychic drugs for decades.

Nick teams up with Cassie Holmes, a thirteen-year-old girl who can see the future, to track down a missing girl and a stolen suitcase that could potentionally bring the downfall of Division – the key to their mutual revenge. Combining their skills, they outwit assassins and learn about Division’s latest secret weapon – a powerful and new experimental drug called R16, which could shift the tides of psychic warfare.

The film is directed by Paul McGuigan (Lucky Number Slevin), starring Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle and Djimon Hounsou.
