New And Hi-Res “Alice in Wonderland” Images
Some new promo photos from Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” has been revealed. Check out also already seen but now Hi-Res photos of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, Mia Wasikowska as Alice and Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Tweedledee and Tweedledum are among the first characters to greet Alice. The twins are played by British comic Matt Lucas. They take her to meet the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). Michael Sheen plays the White Rabbit, Alan Rickman - Caterpillar, Christopher Lee - Jabberwock, Stephen Fry - Cheshire Cat and Crispin Glover stars as The Knave of Hearts.
Burton’s Alice is almost like a sequel to the original Lewis Carroll’s story:
The traditional tale has been freshened with a blast of girl power, courtesy of writer Linda Woolverton (Beauty and the Beast). Alice, 17, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty society types. Off she runs, following a white rabbit into a hole and ending up in Wonderland, a place she visited 10 years before yet doesn’t remember.
Brand New Public Enemies Clips
If you don’t have a problem with watching scenes from the movie before you watch it take a look at the six brand new video clips from the upcoming summer blockbuster, “Public Enemies” which will be released in theaters on July 1, 2009.
Michael Mann’s “Public Enemies” which stars Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard among the others is based on Brian Burrough’s book “Public Enemies: America’s Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-34.″
The movie also stars Channing Tatum who plays outlaw Pretty Boy Floyd, Giovanni Ribisi as Alvin Karpis, Stephen Dorff as Homer Van Meter, Jason Clarke stars as John “Red” Hamilton, David Wenham as Pete Pierpont, Leelee Sobieski as Polly Hamilton, Emilie de Ravin as Anna Patzke, Branka Katic as Anna Sage and Billy Crudup as J. Edgar Hoover.

More “Alice in Wonderland” Images
We’ve already posted today promo photos of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen for Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland.”
We haven’t seen images of some other characters from the movie - Tweedledee and Tweedledum, The Caterpillar, The Cheshire Cat. But now we have closer look at the two brothers Tweedledee and Tweedledum - the twins played by British comic Matt Lucas. Take a look below.
As you can notice, the lead, Mia Wasikowska as Alice is also among these new photos. We hope to see some pics of Alan Rickman as The Caterpillar and Stephen Fry as The Cheshire Cat soon.
New Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” Images
Walt Disney Pictures has released the first and very interesting promo photos from Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” featuring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.
USA Today has published the first look at some of the concept art for the movie. Click on any of the photos to enlarge.
“It has been Burton-ized” said the producer Richard Zanuck and it is the best description for Tim Burton’s vision of the original story. “The book itself is pretty dark. This is for little people and people who read it when they were little 50 years ago,” Zanuck added.

You can watch a new movie clip - Assault - from Mann’s upcoming movie, showing FBI Agent Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) leading a raid on the house where John Dillenger (Johnny Depp) and his gang are hiding, TV spot for the movie and video in which Depp, Bale and Marion Cotillard talk about their characters from the film.

Pirates 4 Priority Over Lone Ranger
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed that the studio is eager to make “Pirates Of The Caribbean 4” with Johnny Depp before he stars as Tonto in a new “Lone Ranger” movie.
He has said that a new “Pirates Of The Caribbean” movie is a “priority” for Disney!
Bruckheimer said that the original writers, Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot, were “writing ‘Pirates’ as we speak,” and he said it was “funny” and a “whole new way of going” although he wouldn’t share more than that.
“It’s a great franchise for them and for us, too,” Bruckheimer said,
“We love the character and Johnny was really excited about coming back to Captain Jack. He certainly is interested in Tonto, but Disney’s priority is to get Pirates made first. You never know what’s going to happen, but they would like it.”
Earlier, we wrote that Gore Verbinski informed Disney that he will not be the direcor of the fourth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. Instead, Verbinski wanted to make a live-action adaptation of the bestselling video game “BioShock.”
But Verbinski recently announced that he may not direct a movie based on the video game. In an interview, ComingSoon.net asked Bruckheimer if there was a chance he might return for a fourth movie - “You never know. He created the franchise so we’d love to have him back, but it’s kind of up to him,” the producer said.
