Lionsgate Films has unleashed the first poster and 11 photos from Friends with Kids. The film tells the story of a close-knit circle of 30 something’s friends increasingly torn apart by the invasion of children into the picture. The two remaining singletons, played by Adam Scott and writer/director Jennifer Westfeldt resolve to get physical, pop out a kid of their own and share custody while they continue to date other people. Problems, and emotions, ensue.

Upon hearing the news that Lillian (Maya Rudolph) has gotten engaged, ecstatic Annie (Wiig) leaps at the chance to plan the perfect wedding. With the big day rapidly approaching, Annie struggles to put her romantic and financial woes aside in order to give her dearest friend a day of memories that will last a lifetime.

Brand New MacGruber Trailer
Today we have a new trailer for the upcoming MacGruber action/comedy movie, based on the popular “Saturday Night Live” skit that parodies “MacGyver.” Will Forte returns as MacGruber, a comedic spin on the ’80s TV character MacGyver. Trailer also features a very fleshy Val Kilmer, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Bill Hader, Powers Boothe and Ryan Phillippe.
Maya Rudolph Joins Kristen Wiig in Bridemaids
Maya Rudolph has joined Kristen Wiig in Bridemaids comedy.
This comedy will be produced by Judd Apatow, while his Freaks And Geeks co-creator Paul Feig will be directing. It already sounds like an interesting mix of teams…
So, this new Hollywood project will feature Rudolph as the bride to be, Lillian, and Wiig as her bridesmaid, Annie.
This could sound like some kind of official synopsis: “When Annie (Kristen Wiig), a simple Midwestern girl is asked to be her best friend Lillian’s (Maya Rudolph) maid of honor, she struggles to please the snobby, rich bridesmaids at every pre-wedding event.”

Rogue Pictures (Universal) has debuted the official trailer for Jorma Taccone – directed MacGruber.
Action comedy is based on Will Forte‘s clueless secret agent named MacGruber seen on “Saturday Night Live” whose lack of skill and abundance of personal problems serve as a detriment to him and those around him.
The movie stars Will Forte, Ryan Phillippe, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Powers Boothe, Maya Rudolph and Val Kilmer.
Sam Mendes’ AWAY WE GO To Open Edinburgh Film Festival
It has been announced that Sam Mendes’ latest movie will open Edinburgh Film Festival which runs from June 17- 29, 2009.
Mendes’ (“Road to Perdition,”"Jarhead,”"Revolutionary Road” and Oscar-winning “American Beauty”) road-trip comedy “Away We Go” will be the Opening Gala at this year’s festival.
