Sherlock Holmes: Rachel McAdams As Irene Adler Poster
You’ve probably already seen two character posters for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming action adventure “Sherlock Holmes” – Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes and Jude Law as Watson. It’s time to see Canadian actress Rachel McAdams and new character poster featuring McAdams as Irene Adler, supporting Sherlock Holmes, the latest film adaptation of author Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional detective character. Set in 1891, the film revolves around Holmes and Watson as they try to stop a conspiracy that could destroy Britain, opening with Holmes apprehending cult leader ‘Lord Blackwood’ (Mark Strong), who promises he will return from the dead and exact his revenge, while being led to the gallows.
Ritchie is directing from the script by Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham and Simon Kinberg, based on an original story by Wigram incorporating Doyle’s public domain characters.
Guy Ritchie’s “Sherlock Holmes” stars Robert Downey Jr. as Holmes, Jude Law as Dr Watson, Kelly Reilly as his love interest Mary. The bad guys are Rachel McAdams as Irene Adler and Mark Strong as Blackwood.
“Sherlock Holmes” is scheduled for release on December 25th, 2009.
New Iron Man 2 Pictures

Marvel has released a new pictures of Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Sam Rockwell from “Iron Man 2.”
Scarlett Johansson plays 24-year-old Natasha Romanoff, “Stark’s mysterious new assistant,” whose alter ego is Black Widow. She has been hired by Tony Stark causing a rift in the ranks with Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) who has now been promoted to CEO of Stark Industries.
In an interview with EW, Gwyneth Paltrow said,
“The men want it to be, like, ‘Ooh, the girls are fighting over Tony,’ but it’s not as standard as that,” Paltrow tells EW. “There’s a weird male catfight fantasy,”
Robert Downey Jr | Iron Man 2
Downey Jr. agrees, saying what differentiates the franchise from other superhero series can be summarized as follows:
“We’re horny. Not, like, can’t-bring-your-kids horny, but just…horny.”
The Jon Favreau-directed and Justun Theroux writen film opens May 7, 2010.

EW has posted another photo from “Iron Man 2.” Photo shows Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in a racing suit.
Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Garry Shandling, and John Slattery also star in Jon Favreau-directed sequel.
The film takes place “six months after Stark revealed his identity as Iron Man” at the end of the first movie.
“Iron Man 2″ is scheduled to hit theaters on May 7th, 2010.

First Photos Of Scarlett Johansson In Iron Man 2
Here’s our very first look at Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in Jon Favreau’s “Iron Man 2.”
You can also see Robert Downey Jr. on the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s Comic-Con preview issue and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash wearing his armor suit with a power pack on his chest that looks similar to that of Iron Man’s.
Whiplash is the alter ego of Ivan Vanko, a Russian who, Favreau says, “has constructed his own version of a suit.” Among the creative alterations: a pair of whips, powered by the suit’s glowing chest piece, expected to keep Iron Man cracking. Whiplash “is going to light them up,” says Rourke.
“Iron Man 2″ also stars Don Cheadle as Jim Rhodes, Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, , Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer.
The film is set to hit U.S. theaters on May 7, 2010.

Reports say that Mickey Rourke would play a tattooed Russian heavy named Ivan who becomes a man with deadly, technologically enhanced coils. While another source adds that Rourke would play the Crimson Dynamo.
“He’s considered to be an evil version of Iron Man because he battles the superhero in a nuclear-powered suit of armor.”
Sam Rockwell would play Justin Hammer, a multibillionaire businessman and a rival of industrialist Tony Stark.
