Two New Ang Lee’s LIFE OF PI Featurettes
As you already see from our title, we’re here to share two great videos with you today, so-called featurettes for the upcoming Life of Pi movie, which opens in a few days!
I’m sure you’re going to enjoy, especially because this time we give you a little bit different look at Ang Lee‘s new movie.
But, first of all, let me just remind you that Lee’s movie is a story of a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery.
Played by young Suraj Sharma, Pi is marooned on a lifeboat, but somehow manages to form an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship’s only other survivor – a fearsome Bengal tiger.
You already had a chance to watch trailers, TV spots and to see great images & posters for this movie, so I guess we all agree that, in one word, everything looks – magical!
And the whole thing sounds like a perfect story for 3D, right? Well, these video interviews with director Lee are here to show you that, at first moment, he was quite skeptical about using 3D.
But hey – when there’s 3D master James Cameron involved in the whole thing – everything is possible! So, I definitely recommend you to check out both featurettes, because – who knows, maybe you’ll learn something new from these movie legends!
At the end of this report, I will remind you that beside Sharma, Life of Pi also stars Irffan Khan, Gerard Depardieu, Adil Hussain and Rafe Spall, and 20th Century Fox will release the movie on November 21st, 2012!
