Here’s a second trailer for Marc Forster’s World War Z, promoting the upcoming zombie apocalypse thriller starring Brad Pitt. This new trailer has definitely cleaned up a weakness of visual effects seen in Super Bowl spot.
Adapted from the book by Max Brooks, the story revolves around United Nations investigator Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in an attempt to discover to the cause of the zombie virus outbreak currently threatening the entire human race.
Meanwhile, the trailer never once mentioning the word ‘zombie’ and never actually defining what the threat is.
The film is directed by German filmmaker Forster (Monster’s Ball) from a screenplay written by Matthew Michael Carnahan (The Kingdom), and revised by Damon Lindelof (Prometheus).
World War Z also stars Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and David Morse, and will invade theaters on June 21st, 2013.
