We already wrote so much about Peter Jackson‘s upcoming fantasy adventure, and I’m pretty sure you know everything about it, as well as that it’s set to open this December.
Still, I will remind you that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will center on Bilbo Baggins swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. Only, this time he will have a help of a thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior Thorin Oakenshield.
Prepare yourself for the journey that will take you into the Wild, through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers. But our dear Bilbo will first have to escape the goblin tunnels, and meet the creature that will change his life forever – Gollum.
Alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, Bilbo will gain possession of Gollum’s “precious” ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities…
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey cast includes Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Ian Holm, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, Elijah Wood, Evangeline Lilly, Andy Serkis, Luke Evans and more.
The movie opens on December 14th, 2012.
