Ralph Fiennes To Join James Foley’s Fantasy Drama SANDS!

Ralph Fiennes Here's an interesting casting news – Ralph Fiennes is in some serious negotiations to join James Foley‘s upcoming fantasy drama-romance titled Sands! At this moment we know that the whole thing will center on a New York couple involved in an accident that leaves the wife in a coma. But then, a weird thing happens – her spirit travels to India where she meets an imaginary man… Written by novelist Renata Bovara, Sands will follow a surgeon and his wife who lands in a coma after a car accident.
Caught between life and death, the woman's spirit travels to India where she is drawn to an imaginary man. She must choose between her love for that man and her husband, who is desperate to bring her back to life.
Sound like a pretty weird plot, but unfortunately at this moment we have no idea which role Fiennes would take on in the movie. Still, the good thing is that lensing is expected to kick off between October and December, so I guess we'll soon have more updates! Filming will take place in Toronto, Reunion Island and India. Stay tuned!
