On this weekend's Saturday, as you may remember,
Ben Affleck has said that he won't be working on the
Justice League movie.
Well, now comes word that The Matrix trilogy directors
Andy and
Lana Wachowski may be in contention for the job as well.
No doubt, the superhero team-up movie is now a major priority for the Warner Bros. studio in the hope that Justice League would serve as a launching pad for other DC heroes like Wonder Woman, The Flash as well as a revamped Green Lantern.
The Australian site
Moviehole states that with Warner Bros. enthusiasm for Cloud Atlas, which hits theaters on October 26th, 2012, the
Wachowskis are definitely under consideration.
Furthermore, the duo co-wrote and produced the graphic novel adaptations of V for Vendetta and Ninja Assassin and directed, wrote and produced Speed Racer through the company.
But that's all speculations. All we know is that Justice League is being penned by Gangster Squad scribe Will Beale.
Stay up.
