‘Bond 24’ Gets A Writer And Release Window

According to the fansite MI6, Oscar-nominated screenwriter John Logan will return to write the next movie and unlike the 23rd outing, he’ll write it alone and complete a whole outline.

The Skyfall follow-up is expected to start shooting next fall at Pinewood Studios, with a target release date of fall 2014.

Bearing in mind a four-year wait since the last James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace this news is perfectly satisfying.

If you like John Logan’s previous work whose other credits include Gladiator, The Aviator, Rango and Hugo you have no choice, but to be positive.

One of Hollywood’s most prolific writers, Logan is a three-time Oscar nominee who also wrote the upcoming Darren Aronfosky film Noah.

Keeping in mind that the every 007 film since The World Is Not Enough has opened in November, I strongly believe seeing Bond 24 would land in November 2014.

Meanwhile, the latest Bond adventure Skyfall, the first installment in the franchise to get an IMAX release, opens in the UK today and in the US on November 9th, 2012.
