Vampires again. Only, this time, we could call them gorgeous, busty, sexy vampires. Unfortunately (or, fortunately), I'm here today to show you just one of them but I'm sure you're going to love her new look!
After all she's your favorite Gemma Arterton who's currently busy filming Neil Jordan‘s new horror movie titled Byzantium.
At first moment I thought Arterton is having some serious pain in her stomach. I mean all that touching and spreading arms like she's trying to get some help…That scared me, girl! But then I read the synopsis part and was relieved. She's actually a vampire. And together with Saoirse Ronan, who also stars in this movie, Arterton makes a mother-daughter vampire team who sometimes pose as sisters.
I admit this plot description sucks, so I've spent some time searching for some serious explanation on Byzantium story and here's what I've found!
On the run for murder, two young “sisters” arrive penniless at an English seaside town. Arterton plays Clara, described as a fiercely modern woman who has her eyes on the future and no time for the past. On the other hand, Ronan is on board for the role of Eleanor, shy and innocent teenager.
They both hide the same secrets: they are really mother and daughter, and they are both vampires! And check this out! Eleanor is exhausted by 200 years on the run and desperate to settle down. But little does she know that her mother has been protecting her all of the years from their own kind, “The Brotherhood”. To escape them, they must either blend in or continue running away. But just as they think they may have escaped, their past rapidly catches up with them.
Now it makes sense!
The rest of the cast includes Caleb Landry Jones, Danny Mays, Bradley James and Sam Riley. At this moment still no official release date, but – you know we'll keep you updated!
