Camilla Luddington: Kate Middleton Actress In ‘William & Kate’ Lifetime Movie
Unknown British actress Camilla Luddington could be on the rise to power and chance after being cast as Kate Middleton for the upcoming William & Kate.
It gives the impression of being Lifetime has found just right future princess for the William & Kate original movie about the latter-day fabulous romance between Prince William and Kate Middleton. And now have both of its leads confined. Young British actress Camilla Luddington, who was born in Berkshire, the same county as Middleton, has landed the role of the prospect princess. She will star opposite Nico Evers-Swindell, earlier cast as Prince William, and Ben Cross as his father, Prince Charles.
Camilla Luddington has had minor roles in American shows including Days of Our Lives and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In other words she has only taken a part in an American soap opera and a couple of crime series.
Nico Evers-Swindell’s IMDB resume also enrolled a few bit parts on NCIS: Los Angeles, Guiding Light and Law & Order, along with a small ones in the Mel Gibson movie Edge of Darkness. Since moving to New York City from New Zealand in 2003, Nico has studied with The Upright Citizens Brigade and Matt Del Negro. A short time ago he performed in The Boys with the Outhouse Theater Company and productions of ‘Loose Knit.’
It is still unable to confirm rumors about British performer Ben Cross who should play the Prince of Wales. Cross is best known for his portrayal of the Olympic athlete Harold Abrahams in the movie Chariots of Fire (1981).
The film records the history of William and Kate, of course – from the time the two students met at Scotland’s prestigious University of St Andrews, through the ups and downs of their nine-year engagement confused by social and Royal Family demands, and strong worldwide media attention.
German distributor SevenOne International, which has secured the rights to the movie said it had high hopes for the film.
William & Kate is set to start production next week and is expected to release around the time of the royal couple’s April 29 wedding date.
