CBS’ HOSTAGES First Look

Hostages

Hostages – make sure you remember this one. Described as a high-octane suspense drama, CBS' upcoming series has an awesome cast on board which includes Emmy Award winner Toni Collette and our favourite TV-face Dylan McDermott.

Guess that should be enough for you to read more details about the whole thing and see the first trailer for their show in the rest of this report…

The series is based on a similar Israeli series created by Alon Aranya, Omri Givon, and Rotem Shamir, while Jeffrey Nachmanoff wrote the pilot episode for the American version of Hostages.

It revolves around a doctor named Ellen Sanders, played by Collette, who is given the job to operate on the actual president of the United States. But, when her family is taken hostage by a rogue FBI agent, played by McDermott, she is ordered by the kidnappers to assassinate the President and save her family.

Dramatic enough? Hell, yeah!

Beside the above mentioned duo, Hostages cast also includes James Naughton as the President, Rhys Coiro, Billy Brown, Sandrine Holt, Tate Donovan, Quinn Shephard and Mateus Ward.

Let us know what you think about the trailer and don't forget – Hostages will begin airing on CBS this fall at 10 PM on Mondays!
