IESB recently reported that
Marcus Nispel‘s upcoming
Conan will be going 3D. Lionsgate has sent out offers to a bunch of special effects companies that would be willing to tackle this job. But it's unclear whether they want it shot in 3D or convert it later on like WB did
Clash Of The Titans remake.
Conan, based on the pulp series by writer
Robert E. Howard, will begin filming next month in Bulgaria, with
Jason Momoa (Stargate Atlantis) stepping in as the sword-swinging barbarian.
Mickey Rourke is also rumored to be joining the cast.
WWE superstar,
Shad Gaspard (29-years-old, 6′7 feet tall and weighs 285 lbs) of Cryme Tyme, recently auditioned for the role of
Ukafa, the main villain in the remake of
Conan the Barbarian.

Its already been reported that the producers want Raw Leiba,if leiba can adjust his schedule(hes signed to 2 other films)the role is supposedly his,If Leiba drops out Gaspards got a much better shot.
