Courteney Cox (Cougar Town, Friends) is excited about her return to the “
Scream 4.”
Speaking to
The Associated Press, Cox suggested that her character Gale Weathers and partner Deputy Dewey would probably still be living in the town where the original murders took place.
“They're probably back living in Woodsboro,” Cox said referring to the small California town that was the setting of the first film. “I think that he's probably still deputy, and I've had a lot of kids. I don't know. I'm probably miserable, and then I'm sure a lot of murdering will happen.”

Kevin Williamson is currently working on the script. He told the New York Post recently that “there are a lot of twists and turns, so I can't promise anything.
“Scream 4” will begin production this April with a release sometime in 2010.
