Getaway movie a few months ago, and today we're here to give you the proof – the first official photo from the action thriller which comes from directors
Courtney Solomon and
Yaron Levy, and beside Gomez, also stars
Ethan Hawke as the male lead!
Solomon and Levy direct the whole thing from a script written by
Gregg Maxwell Parker and
Sean Finegan, and just in case you still have some doubts about this project we're here to remind you that this film is actually an original story, and
has nothing to do with the 1972 film
The Getaway which starred
Steve McQueen and
Ali MacGraw.
Hawke is on board to play character named Brent Magna, a burned out race car driver who is thrust into a do-or-die mission behind the wheel when his wife is kidnapped. The rest of the story goes like this:
With Brent's only ally being a young hacker, his one hope of saving his wife is to follow the orders of the mysterious voice who's watching his every move through cameras mounted on the car Brent's driving.
As you already know, Gomez plays that young hacker, while
Jon Voight is
the mysterious voice. The rest of the cast also includes
Paul Freeman,
Bruce Payne and
Rebecca Budig.
