If you are aware of what Robert Pattinson‘s eyes look like, then you will know the freshly released one-sheet for Mission: Blacklist focuses on a close-up look at the thesp's glowing eyes.

The promotional poster released by Embankment Films is filled with an assortment of letters and states the words ‘In a world of lies, only one man could see the truth.'

Based on the book of the same name the psychological thriller will be modeled from the true story of military interrogator Eric Maddox who wrote the novel with Davin Seay. Pattinson will star as Maddox, who spearheaded the hunt for the former Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein. The plot follows the events that led him to uncover the wanted man in a spiderhole in Tikrit in 2003.

Band of Brothers writer and producer Erik Jendresen is writing the script, with Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire directing what looks to be his feature debut.

The project will be available for buyers at Cannes; in addition to Mission: Blacklist, other Pattinson-starring thriller Cosmopolis will be sold in Cannes too.

Pattinson also stars as Edward Cullen in the upcoming film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 by director Bill Condon, which will open on November 16th, 2012.
