Five new promo photos have been released for 20th Century Fox‘ upcoming epic, “Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightening Thief.” They include shots of Percy Jackson (Logan Lerman), Medusa (Uma Thurman), Chiron (Pierce Brosnan), Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario) and Grover Underwood (Brandon T. Jackson).
The film is based on the first novel in Rick Riordan’s “Percy Jackson & the Olympians” series. The story revolves around a ‘troubled’ 12-year-old boy, Percy Jackson, who discovers that he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon during a field trip to a museum in New York City.
“Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” is directed by Chris Columbus (Home Alone, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) and will be released to theaters on February 12, 2010.
