I'm not sure if this is an official poster for the upcoming Carrie remake, but you must admit that it looks awesome! I mean – Julianne Moore looks awesome! Awesome in a spooky kind of way. I will once again remind you that Kimberly Peirce directs the movie from a script written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and as you already know – this is the third film adaptation of Stephen King‘s novel of the same name, and a remake of Brian De Palma‘s 1976 movie.
Carrie stars Chloë Grace Moretz as Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother, played by Julianne Moore, who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
The rest of the cast also includes Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde and Ansel Elgort, and the movie is now set to open on October 18th, 2013.
