Take another look at George Clooney and Sandra Bullock aka two astronauts who work together to survive after an accident leaves them adrift in space. You already know what we're talking about – an upcoming sci-fi drama Gravity, which comes from director Alfonso Cuaron, and is set to hit theaters this October. Before that (in case you forgot) the movie is set to open the 70th Venice International Film Festival.

As usual – you will have to click on all these images to enlarge, and then we definitely recommend you to check out those great trailers for the movie (here's Drifting, I've Got You, the very first one and another creepy video). Looks promising, right?

Anyway, Cuaron's movie follows Bullock's character, a brilliant medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone on her first shuttle mission. Clooney, on the other hand, stars as veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky in command of his last flight before retiring.

Everything looks like a seemingly routine spacewalk, until:
…disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone- tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
As we said at the beginning, Gravity is set to open Venice Film Festival this month, and is then set to hit theaters on October 4th, 2013.
Stay tuned for more sci-fi updates!
