Just a quick Hobbit-update: we have brand new promo pics for Peter Jackson‘s upcoming fantasy adventure, and as usual – you can check them out in the rest of this report. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is set to hit theaters on December 13th, 2013, and beside the above mentioned trio also stars Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Christopher Lee, Sylvester McCoy, Mikael Persbrandt, Lee Pace, Orlando Bloom, Benedict Cumberbatch and more.
As we previously reported, the movie is the second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece by J.R.R. Tolkien, and:
