John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the writing duo behind Horrible Bosses movie, are quite busy guys these days.
We already had a chance to hear they'll be in charge for the new Vacation reboot, they will also be in charge for Horrible Bosses sequel, and now, all of the sudden comes the word that they will also do a rewrite of Secret Histories for Sony Pictures Animation.
As you probably already know, Secret Histories is based on a U.K. book series written by Ari Berk, and is intended to be a live-action/CG hybrid.
Thanks to THR, we know that the movie will follow a geeky Dungeons & Dragons-type fan who discovers he may be a half-faerie when a secret order of mythical beings seeks out his help, thrusting him on an international adventure to save the world.
The original draft was written by Tom Wheeler, and the project will be be overseen by Sony's president of production Michelle Raimo Kouyate and director of development Jenny Marchick. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Eric Robinson of the Gotham Group, are producing Secret Histories together with Greg Little.
