Let us first remind you that the Francis Lawrence-directed sequel to The Hunger Games opens on November 22nd, 2013, and also stars Woody Harrelson, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and more.
The movie will once again center on Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark who, this time, become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks a rebellion in the Districts of Panem.
In other words, Catching Fire begins as Katniss has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark, but:
…winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour’ of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.
