The story for the latest 3D Ice Age sees the cast set adrift from the continent and facing sea creatures and pirates on their floating iceberg.
The follow-up to 2009’s Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs features the voices of Ray Romano , John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Wedge, Aziz Ansari, Nick Frost, Joy Behar, Alan Tudyk, Heather Morris, Josh Gad, Kunal Nayyar, Alain Chabat and Nicki Minaj.
Ice Age: Continental Drift will hit theaters on July 13th, 2012.
Synopsis:
Prehistoric trio Manny, Diego and Sid embark upon their greatest adventure after cataclysm sets an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the herd, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship, which launches them on an epic seafaring quest. Manny and the gang are challenged like never before to become heroes and do the impossible, as they encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and battle ruthless pirates. Scrat’s reunion with his cursed nut catapults him to places no prehistoric squirrel has gone before.
