Insidious

From the makers of the Saw series and Paranormal Activity, we are delighted to share with you the official theatrical one-sheet and stills for upcoming supernatural horror film Insidious.

Insidious comes from the writer-director team of Leigh Whannell and James Wan (Saw) and is produced by Oren Peli, Jason Blum and Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity). The film stars two-time Tony nominee Patrick Wilson (The Watchmen, Little Cildren), two-time Emmy nominee Rose Byrne (28 Weeks Later, Damages), Golden Globe winner Barbara Hershey (Black Swan), Lin Shaye and Ty Simpkins.

The creators of Saw and Paranormal Activity team up to reinvent the haunted-house genre for a new generation with Insidious, paying tribute to such horror classics as Carnival of Souls, The Exorcist and Poltergeist. Renais (Rose Byrne) and her husband Josh (Patrick Wilson) are still unpacking boxes in their family's new home when she first senses a sinister presence. Eerie events steadily escalate into supernatural attacks, until one day their oldest son slips into a mysterious coma. Renais and Josh abandon their ghost-ridden home and attempt to heal their broken family, turning to an unorthodox expert in supernatural occurrences (Lin Shaye). They soon discover: It's not the house that's haunted.

In case you haven't already watched it, check out Insidious trailer.

Insidious is scheduled to hit theaters on April 1st, 2011.
