Paramount Pictures has released the first production picture from “
Iron Man 2.” The photo features star
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark with some Iron Man suits shown in the background.
“Iron Man 2” takes place “six months after Stark revealed his identity as Iron Man” at the end of the first movie.
Director
Jon Favreau talked to the newspaper about the May 7, 2010 release, saying,
“How many superheroes are open about their true identities? We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences – in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore.”
“Iron Man 2” is scheduled to hit theaters on May 7th, 2010.
