Jeff Tremaine, man who previously directed all three Jackass films, will make his narrative feature debut with the upcoming comedy titled Revenge of the Jocks.
He's obsessed with this kind of stories, or something like that. Never mind, we're here to report that Tremaine will direct this new thing for Warner Bros, and he has quite interesting team on board.
Tremaine will direct from a script by Etan and Rami Cohen. Only, with one little detail – the script is being rewritten by I Heart Huckabees Jeff Baena.
At this moment, we have this kind of description for the movie: “Three men, once popular high school jocks with their glory days behind them, find themselves forced to adapt to a world run by the geek and nerd crowd, some of whom are only too eager to unleash their own tormenting on the new underdog class.”
Anyone excited about that?
If you are, then you'll be happy to hear that Treamaine's Jackass 3.5, or, if you prefer – an assembly of segments cut from Jackass 3D, is being released exclusively online on April 1, 2011. So, I'm sure you're going to enjoy that as well.
In the meanwhile, let us know what you think about Revenge of the Jocks, and stay tuned!
