’s upcoming adaptation of Jonathan Tropper’s best selling novel titled This Is Where I Leave You
is getting some seriously good cast.
I mean, at this moment we have Jason Bateman, Leslie Mann, Zac Efron
and Goldie Hawn
– all in talks to join this project! Say what you want guys, but this sounds promising…
So, if negotiations work out, Bateman, Mann and Efron would come on board to play three of four siblings who come home to honor their recently deceased father’s last wish: for the entire family to spend the full seven days after his death together as a family, in the same house.
According to Deadline, the whole thing actually centers on a guy named Judd Foxman, who’s mourning not only the death of his father but also the end of his marriage due to his wife’s infidelity.
It’s safe for us to guess that Bateman is the right man for that role, right?
On the other hand, Efron will jump in to play the youngest brother, Mann will play the lone sister Wendy, while Hawn will play their mother.
Who will play another older brother named Paul? At this moment that’s the mysterious part of the story, but as usual – we’ll let you know as soon as possible!
Filming on This Is Where I Leave You should start this September.
Make sure you stay tuned for more updates!
