Joseph Gordon-Levitt In Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED

Fiona December 17, 2011 1 comment
Joseph Gordon-Levitt So, what do you think about this? Joseph Gordon-Levitt is now in talks to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino‘s spaghetti Western Django Unchained. I like this idea. As far as I'm concerned, Gordon-Levitt should be in every single Hollywood movie. Even in this one. After all, we already have Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Kurt Russell and Don Johnson on board for the whole thing, so this means only one thing – it's going to be a very happy Christmas Day next year! Let us all see what's going on in Django Unchained, once again, shall we? The movie centers on Django, a freed slave who under the tutelage of a German bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) becomes trained and deputized as an equally cut-throat and eagle-eyed assassin himself. After assisting the bounty hunter in taking down some bank-robbing murderers that have a price on their head, he's helped by him in tracking down his slave wife and liberating her from an evil plantation owner. As you already know, Jamie Foxx stars as the titular character, while Leonardo DiCaprio is on board to play the plantation-owning villain. Now, according Variety, Gordon-Levitt intends to do the movie, though he'll have to sort out several scheduling issues that could prevent him from participating. In case you forgot, he's currently busy with The Dark Knight Rises and Steven Spielberg's biopic Lincoln. Anyway, production on Tarantino's Django Unchained is set to get underway in New Orleans in January, and we definitely hope that negotiations with Gordon-Levitt will work out. You guys, let us know what you think about this, and of course, stay tuned for the confirmation!
