Check out the first trailer for Brad Peyton's (Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore) upcoming adventure film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, the sequel to the 2008 Brendan Fraser film Journey to the Center of the Earth, with Josh Hutcherson, Dwayne ‘The Rock' Johnson, Michael Caine, Vanessa Hudgens, Kristin Davis, and Luis Guzmán.
In Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Sean Anderson – played by the returning Josh Hutcherson – and his mom's boyfriend (Johnson) go on an adventure looking for the Mysterious Island written about by Jules Verne, where he believes his grandfather (Michael Caine) is stranded. To assist in his journey is a helicopter pilot (Luis Guzman) and young, beautiful new romantic interest (Vanessa Hudgens).
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island hits 2D and 3D theaters February 10th, 2012.
