Here's something fresh for all
Kristen Bell‘s fans out there – she has signed on to star as the lead in the upcoming indie drama titled
The Lifeguard!
The whole thing comes from writer/director
Liz W. Garcia, and Bell will this time come on board as the replacement of the previously involved
Kate Bosworth.
The Lifeguard is a story of a reporter named Leigh, who, on the verge of 30, abandons her life in New York City, returns home to get her high school job as a lifeguard, and starts a dangerous relationship with a 16-year-old delinquent.
Sounds like pretty weird story at this moment, but one thing is for sure – if anybody out there knows how to play a reporter then it's Bell. I'm sure you all remember her role in Ken Kwapis' The Big Miracle, right?
Anyway, the rest of The Lifeguard cast also includes
Mamie Gummer, Joshua Harto, Amy Madigan, Alex Shaffer and
Martin Starr.
And all that looks just fine to me. That's why I'll keep an eye on Bell and the company, and you – as usual, stay tuned for more!
