Here's the first official trailer for Steven Soderbergh‘s next film Magic Mike, with Channing Tatum as the title character.
Telling the story of the 30-year-old Mike “Magic Mike” Martingano, a professional male stripped, the film is based on a script based partly on Channing's own experience.
He is apparently playing an analog of somebody he knew at the time, a kind of mentor figure, and Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four) is playing the Tatum part.
Aside from Channing Tatum, it also stars Matt Bomer (White Collar), Matthew McConaughey (A Time to Kill), Joe Manganiello, Gabriel Igelsias, Olivia Munn, Riley Keough, Betsy Brandt, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Cody Horn.
