You saw Mandy Moore performing I See the Light at the Oscar, and you'll soon have a chance to see her in Falling Slowly, an upcoming supernatural drama, where she's set to star alongside Rodrigo Santoro.
By the way, this project is the directorial debut of Buried writer Chris Sparling, so we guess that this could be something interesting indeed.
Not much is known about the whole thing, beside the fact that Moore and Santoro are set to play a couple whose apartment is haunted by a dark presence. That's “the supernatural” part of the story, I guess.
But we're ready to see what Sparling has to offer to us with this directorial debut after making some waves with his script for the Ryan Reynolds “underground” thriller Buried, for which he won the National Board of Review's best original screenplay award.
When it comes to Santoro, you probably remember him from I Love You Phillip Morris where he played a supporting role, but I'm sure you're also familiar with his other involvement in the upcoming animated pic Rio.
We're ready for more updates on Falling Slowly, so make sure you stay with us!
