300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE Reveals Bloody Motion Poster

300 Rise of an Empire Check out the latest (pretty cool & bloody) motion poster for the upcoming 300: Rise of an Empire movie! Nothing spectacular, just another look at Sullivan Stapleton aka Themistokles, and of course – another reminder that this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield: on the sea. Head inside to take a look… Directed by Noam Murro, and also starring Eva Green, Lena Headey, Hans Matheson, David Wenham, Rodrigo Santoro, Igal Naor and Callan Mulvey, 300: Rise of an Empire is set to hit theaters on March 7th, 2014. We already shared an awesome trailer, and some great character posters (click to see: Artemisia, Calisto, Queen Gorgo, Xerxes, and another Comic-Con poster), so I’m sure you’re all familiar with the official synopsis. Still, we will once again remind you that the upcoming action adventure is based on Frank Miller‘s latest graphic novel Xerxes and:
…takes the action to a fresh battlefield – on the sea, as Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. The movie pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemesia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
