Also starring Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Callan Mulvey, Hans Matheson, Jack O'Connell, Lena Headey and David Wenham, the movie is set to hit theaters on March 7th, 2014.
Murro directs this new chapter of the epic saga (and a follow-up to the 2007 film 300) from a script written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad, which takes the action to a fresh battlefield – on the sea.
In other words:
Greek general Themistokles attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war and the movie pits him against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and Artemesia, vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
