Four new character posters for
Tarsem Singh's upcoming mythical fantasy-adventure movie “
Immortals”
premiered today. The posters show
Henry Cavill (Thesus),
Mickey Rourke (King Hyperion),
Stephen Dorff (Stavros), and
Freida Pinto (Phaedra).

Gianni Nunnari (300),
Mark Canton (300) and
Ryan Kavanaugh (The Fighter) unleash an epic tale of treachery, vengeance and destiny in
Immortals, a stylish and spectacular 3-D adventure. As a power-mad king razes ancient Greece in search of a legendary weapon, a heroic young villager rises up against him in a thrilling quest as timeless as it is powerful.
Immortals sees crazed king Hyperion (
Mickey Rourke) deciding that he's going to declare war on humanity. Unleashing an army of horrific soldiers on the land, he's slowly destroying Greece in his quest to locate the Epirus Bow, a powerful weapon crafted in the heavens by Ares, one of the Gods. If Hyperion gets his paws on it, he'll be unstoppable.
But while the Gods can't directly intervene in the affairs of man, they do manage to influence the outcome with Zeus (
Luke Evans) helping a hero, Theseus (
Henry Cavill), to find his calling. Theseus gathers a band of warriors and other mortals together to battle against Hyperion's sweeping evil.
