This one is going to be the short one, but it's worth every second, simply because Bane is in it! Or, if you prefer – Tom Hardy is the leading star of this completely new The Dark Knight Rises IMAX TV spot that we want to share with you today!
So you better hurry up and check it out, because Christopher Nolan‘s movie is set to open this month!
And ok, it's not like you're going to see something spectacular in this short preview of the movie, but at least it's a good reminder of what we'll soon have a chance to watch in theaters. In IMAX, of course!
Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Morgan Freeman all star in the epic conclusion to Christopher Nolan's “Dark Knight” trilogy. And, since the movie opens on July 20th, 2012 I guess this is our last chance to share the official plot with you, so here it is once again:
It's been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act.
But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile.
But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
So, anyone out there not interested in The Dark Knight Rises?
