Here's another image from the upcoming The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey movie.
As you see, the new image features Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins holding so called Sting aka “the blade that glows blue when Orcs are close” so I guess this should be enough information for you to check out the rest of this report as well!
As you already know, The Hobbit will hit the theaters on December 14th, 2012 and director Peter Jackson definitely sounds excited about the whole thing. Here's what he had to say about his work on The Hobbit:
“I think fate has actually been kind to us. Yes, I think fate was kind but I don't know that we knew that along the way… This is the most enjoyable filmmaking experience of my career, by far, which is interesting since I came into it slightly reluctantly. It's all unexpected.”
Let me once again remind you that some serious cast is on board for this completely new journey, and it includes Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Andy Serkis, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Evangeline Lilly, Stephen Fry, Ian McKellen, Adam Brown and John Callen.
