You can’t choose your family… Or, can you?
Here’s the poster for the upcoming Goats
movie, one of the titles which premiered at this years Sundance Film Festival, and has an interesting cast on board.
Actually, that’s probably the only reason I’m writing about this movie now, because from what I see, the plot looks extremely boring…
Anyway, the movie comes from director Christopher Neil
and stars David Duchovny
(yeah, that’s Duchovny right there on the poster with some cool hairstyle), Vera Farmiga, Graham Phillips, Justin Kirk
and Ty Burrell
Screenwriter Mark Jude Poirier
is behind the story which centers on Ellis, who leaves his new age mother’s (Farmiga) South-Western home to an East Coast prep school where his estranged father Frank (Burrell) was once a star student.
For Ellis, this means leaving behind the only real dad he has ever known, Goat Man (Duchovny), his pot-smoking, goat herding mentor, and ultimately needing to evaluate his new prep school lifestyle that’s in stark contrast to his stoner upbringing.
Still don’t understand the goats part?
Don’t worry, you’re not the only one…
