Horror fans are going to love this news! Stuart Gordon, man behind the 1980’s horror classic Re-Animator will soon bring us a horror stage play titled Taste!
For this one, Gordon will once again reunite with producer Adam Goldworm, and I guess that with this duo on board – we have nothing to worry about.
What definitely sounds interesting is that Taste is actually based on the true story of Armin Meiwes (also known as Rotenburg Cannibal), a German who achieved international notoriety for killing and eating a voluntary victim whom he had found via the Internet. Benjamin Brand, man who co-created “Bollywood Hero” is behind the creepy script.
This sounds promising, and it’s nice to hear that Gordon is still quite busy man when it comes to horror genre.
Let us also remind you that his cult classic, above mentioned Re-Animator is now adapted as Re-Animator the Musical (Gordon is again in charge of directing it), and that project will premiere next month in New York as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival.
