In case you have any doubts about that, we're here to inform you that Witherspoon and her fresh formed production banner Pacific Standard have acquired the rights to the children's book series Pennyroyal's Princess Boot Camp.
She's not only attached to produce the project with Bruna Papandreas, but will also star in the supporting role.
Based on M.A. Larson's book, the whole thing is already being described as a modern fairy tale about a school that shapes girls into warrior princesses to battle against an ever-growing terror of wicked witches.
The good thing, if you like these kind of stories of course, is that Pacific Standard is actually developing the books as a potential franchise.
On the other hand, it's their first official project so as you already see, they are quite serious about this.
