The Descendants star Shailene Woodley is quite busy girl these days. That's a good thing, we like her, and she's definitely a talented young actress.
Woodley is already on board to star in James Ponsoldt‘s The Spectacular and now comes the word that we'll soon have a chance to watch her in another drama, titled White Bird, which comes from a director Gregg Araki.
At this moment we know that in White Bird, Woodley is set to play a troubled young woman whose life is upended following the mysterious disappearance of her mother. And that's basically all about Araki's project so far.
It would be interesting to hear who will sign on to co-star next to Woodley because the other key roles include the protag's parents and the lead detective on the case. But, as usual, with every single update on this one – we'll be back.
Araki will produce White Bird with his frequent collaborators Pascal Caucheteux and Sebastien Lemercier of Why Not Prods.
