‘Terminator 4’ gets it’s new Sarah Connor!
With their (mostly) respected heritage and not inconsiderable impact on modern culture, it's not surprising that a new addition to the ‘Terminator‘ franchise would generate an exploding cluster bomb of rumour, speculation and out and out nonsense! We've heard plenty already concerning this latest kick off with the metal lads with seemingly most of Hollywood's finest and not so finest being implicated for a role in the film.
This one is fairly hot off the press and it suggests strongly that the rather appealing Moon Bloodgood (there's no forgetting a name like that!) will be the new battle hardened ‘Ripley of the post nuclear age' Sarah Connor. According to Yahoo news, the lass who has appeared in the TV series ‘Day Break‘ and who has just won her self a part in the new ‘Street Fighter‘ film is in final negotiations for the part.
There's no denying the ladies appeal as eye confectionary of the most consumable kind, but I'm having trouble seeing her replacing Linda Hamilton‘s ‘tough as old boots' portrayal of the role. Easy on the eye Hamilton wasn't, but by gum, was she a convincing arse kicker or what?
Of course, all of this news maybe superfluous anyway coming on the back of recent rumours concerning a halt on the ‘Terminator 4′ production. The reason for this is unknown and proceedings may well have kicked off again by now…who knows? As stated earlier, there's a lot of chaff out there. We'll do our best to find you the wheat. In the meantime, we'll devote a few fantasy minutes to visons of a tooled up Miss Bloodgood running shouting about those metal mother*******!
