According to director James Wan, his latest horror thriller The Conjuring is nothing like his Insidious movie. Or his Saw. Or, if you prefer Wan’s explanation: “the film that I want to make is a more classical chiller”. You already had a chance to check out the latest trailer and some creepy images from the whole thing, so I’m sure you’re more than familiar with the chiller-part of the story, right? The latest TV spot continues to send shivers down the spine, head inside to check it out!
Let me first remind you that The Conjuring centers on the real life exploits of Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) a married couple that investigated paranormal events.
The movie revolves around the couple’s most famous case (and the most horrifying case of their lives), in which they investigated a witch’s curse on a Rhode Island family farm.

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. The film tells the true story of world renowned paranormal investigators, who were called to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse and confront a powerful demonic entity.
Beside Wilson and Farmiga, The Conjuring also stars Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland and Mackenzie Foy, and the movie is set to hit theaters on July 19th, 2013.
