Victor Ortiz are officially on board for the third instalment of
Sylvester Stallone‘s action franchise. What also sounds pretty cool is that
Kellan Lutz (yep, Emmett Cullen from
The Twilight Saga!) is in some serious talks to join the project as well…
So, according to Stallone's
Twitter:
Rousey will show championship form in Expendables 3.
In case you're not familiar with this lady, let us just mention that she is the first and current UFC
Women's Bantamweight Champion (who has defeated all of her opponents by armbar in the first round).

The Expendables 3 marks her first (still mysterious) role in a major motion picture, which is, by the way, slated to begin shooting next month in Los Angeles.
As for Ortiz, he's a former WBC's welterweight champion and one of the
top three welterweight boxers in the world by most sporting news and boxing websites. So we're pretty familiar with his face (in case you forgot – he also appeared on ABC's
Dancing with the Stars).
Still no details about his role, but he probably won't have to dance now?

Kellan Lutz is in early talks to join the above mentioned duo, and also adds:
Expendables 3 will introduce a younger group of tech-savvy action heroes who initially clash with the older crew, though they eventually team up to save the day.
Hm, sounds… well, let's just say – interesting?
Anyway, let us once again remind you that, beside Stallone, the rest of
The Expendables 3 cast also includes
Arnold Schwarzenegger and
Jason Statham (confirmed!)
On the other hand,
Jackie Chan,
Wesley Snipes,
Nicolas Cage and
Milla Jovovich are still in (some kind of)
advanced negotiations to join the cast as well.
Director
Patrick Hughes is in charge for the upcoming action-packed sequel, which is already set to hit theaters on August 15th, 2014.
