Sean Penn who, in case you forgot, stars as a hired killer but… desperately wants
out of the game…
Morel directs from a script written by
Peter Travis, but the project is actually an adaptation of
Jean-Patrick Manchette‘s novel
The Prone Gunman.
It revolves around a hired killer named Martin Terrier (played by Penn) who wants to settle down and marry his childhood sweetheart (played by
Jasmine Trinca), but there’s a little problem: the Organization won’t let him go!
In fact, he’s sent on a European-spanning journey filled with a whole lot of bloody deaths.
Beside Penn, the rest of
The Gunman cast also includes
Javier Bardem,
Idris Elba and
Ray Winstone. The movie is still without an official release date, but as usual – we’ll keep an eye on it, so you have nothing to worry about.
